CAPS Grade 4 practice, exams and online tutorThe whole school year, one skill at a time.
ClimbClever is a CAPS learning companion for South African primary school, starting with Grade 4 (Grade 5 is on the way). Your child practises maths, English and every other subject one skill at a time until it is truly theirs, sits term exam practice papers, gets a patient online tutor when they are stuck, and you see every step of the climb.
A skill counts as mastered only when your child gets a whole set of 10 right, in good time, 2 sets in a row. Almost right is another set, not a pass. It sounds strict. It is also why the skills stay learned.
After 2 missed sets in a row, the questions drop one step gentler and offer the tutor. Mastered skills come back for a short review after 1, 3, 7 and 21 days, so they stay mastered.
Close. Another set.
Perfect.
Perfect again.
Mastered. Kubbokub joins the trail.
I don't get 75 ÷ 8
Let's count in 8s. How many 8s make 72?
9!
Yes. 9 eights make 72. How far is 72 from 75?
3. So 9 remainder 3?
You worked that out yourself. Check it: 9 × 8 + 3 is?
An online tutor that asks, so your child thinks.
Stuck on a question, your child opens the tutor right beside it. It teaches the way their grade is taught, welcomes their own method when it works, and gives hints instead of answers.
It only talks about the skill in front of them, and steers back if they wander.
It never sees an answer on screen until they have tried it themselves.
Email addresses, phone numbers and passwords are stripped out before any message leaves our server.
Anything unsafe is refused and flagged for you. You can read every chat, word for word.
Four doors: practice, quick rounds, exam practice and a tutor.
Learn
One skill at a time, in sets of 10, until it is mastered.
Quick
10 fast questions for a spare five minutes. Works offline in the car.
Exam
Exam practice with a full term paper, set out and marked like the one at school.
Tutor
A patient tutor that explains, shows an example and asks, never just tells.
You see the whole climb.
Your dashboard shows each child's progress through every subject, the skills they are stuck on, every set and every exam, and every tutor chat. If a question looks wrong, one tap takes it out of rotation for everyone until it is checked.

Every subject of the grade, term by term, from Maths to Coding and Robotics.
Checked questions
From real papers, worked out by code, or answered blind by a second AI that must agree. Languages also pass a teacher.
Any method counts
A scratch pad on every Maths question. Only the final answer is marked.
Points, never money
No ads, no purchases. Trailmates are earned by mastering skills.
